The National Parks Austria Training Academy combines the training and further education programme of Austria’s large protected areas, which are open to National Park employees as well as all other nature enthusiasts. The offer ranges from additional training courses in the area of nature presentation and outdoor skills, through to first aid courses and specialist conferences, to exciting insights into the living environment of various different animal and plant species.

The offered trainings are mainly held in German language.

Being individually accompanied through the National Park area allows you to experience nature in an intensive way, tailored to your own needs, with added value. Therefore, all protected areas offer the option to be personally accompanied by National Park rangers. Bookings can be made via the relevant visitor service. It’s possible for individuals as well as families and groups to be accompanied individually.
