TRANSPARENCY AND MEDIA FUNDING
Nationalparks Austria awards government advertising contracts and related supply and service contracts to media service providers and online platform providers based on transparent, objective, proportionate, and non-discriminatory criteria through open, proportionate, and non-discriminatory procedures.
The selection is based on the following criteria:
- The suitability of the media service provider, the provider of online platforms, or the channel for reaching the defined target group (regional/national reach);
- compliance with the principles of economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in terms of cost-benefit ratio;
- measurability and evaluability of the advertising impact;
- suitability of the format for the advertising message;
- all criteria relevant under public procurement law.
These criteria apply to all procurements based on them, regardless of the type of procedure conducted, and are updated as needed.
