By the third volume of the writings of the National parks Gesäuse we invite you to a naturalistic excursion into the idyllic, wildly romantic Johnsbach.

 
Part 1 - "The John Bach and his story" - deals in depth with aspects of geology and geomorphology, water structure and construction history, with detailed results of a biotope mapping, the submersible water blackbird - the floating "Charaktervorgel" at John Bach - and the bustling, tireless otter .
  
Part 2 - "The GEO-Tag (2007) in Johnsbach" - dedicated to the particularly high species diversity - the story of lichens and mosses, source organisms and spiders, dragonflies, grasshoppers and cicadas, from bugs, beetles and ants running from moths, mammals and John feathered along the creek, where, for example, on long-Gries at a day 100 butterfly species were discovered.
